Hi,

I LOVE salsa forums (great people) whom I miss. Alas it is blocked from work and I do not have home internet yet. ( I can sometimes get into dance forums though yay :) ).

Could someone from there please post a topic in the anonymous off topic section saying:

Hi,

Smiling28 here. Miss everyone a lot but alas I cannot access the site at the moment. Hope everyone and their dancing is well and I look forward to hearing/reading all about it soon.

if it's blocked for you, PM me your email address and i'll add you to their mailing list. they create a new proxy every 2 weeks or so to get around blocked sites. when their latest proxy gets "found out" and blocked, they email you what the next new proxy is. :p

Awesome you rock. But do you know if my company will be able to track this?

Need this job so do not want to risk anything :)

Eh, job schmob. Surfing the net should be one of those inalienable rights. :p

But yes, your company can track everything you do on their/your puter, should they so desire. What I would suggest, if you can temper your usage, is to only sign on around lunch hours or immediately after your "clock out" time. Spend no more than 10/15 minutes using the circumventor. If your circumventor use ever did come up, just explain that you only used it during non work times.

By the way, did the link work for you?? I was blessed with admin rights at my job so I no longer have to use that circumventor. But when I just clicked on the site to give it another go, it didn't seem to work. Do a google search on internet circumventors if you end up needing another site. But beware of viruses! (unless youre on a mac :D) I never had a problem with stupidcensorhip, but there were some other duds along the way that were malware havens.

Thanks, too chicken to try so far lol.

Getting home internet sorted (very remote area so costing a fortune for limited use but hey, I value my online friends :) )
