the bottom line - they want couples who can foxtrot, tango & salsa to dance at various public venues in the LA area from 12-6pm on january 3rd-4th to help promote the start of the 2nd season on jan 5th. they held auditions yesterday & today (i'm doing it) & they still need couples & will be holding auditions in between xmas & new years - probably on the 30th.
1) they are auditioning couples only.
2) social dancers are welcome
3) you don't have to dance the entire time - 10 minute breaks per hour, 30 minute lunch
4) the guys will be supplied w/rented tuxes (but if you've got your tux that fits better, wear it!), an MP3 that straps to the belt, & a small speaker system, women will get outfits as well.
5) you will be dancing to music supplied on the MP3 player - i think about 8 songs which included 2-3 different foxtrots, tangos, salsas (slow), etc.
