Anyone sew their own latin dress?

I know somebody did the standard gown (and even posted a how-to), but any clue on the latin?

We joked about stoning a few napkins and placing them strategically to a bra and panty a few months back, but I've not heard of anyone discussing the logistics of seriously putting together a Latin dress.

I have made a couple of latin dresses for my daughter. They were quite simple though - just a bra top covered with fabric and stoned and a skirt which I sewed on to a pair of sports knickers and then with some clever draping joined them up so it looked like a one piece costume. Mummsie
