lolz...my car is nothing more than a huge lesson locker....generally about 8 changes of clothing, four pairs of dance shoes, more gatorade and water than I keep in my fridge, a stockpile of bengay...I am nothing if not prepared
The Minutemen of the American Revolutionary War were select members of the militia and were to be ready "at a minute's notice".

I take my shoes to lessons, and make sure that I have the right kind of socks on.... That's about all I need (well, I keep them, and my spare junk pair, in the car. And mints.) So...I guess I can be ready in a minute? If it's not a comp, all I really need are the shoes.

If it's a comp, how long do you have to wait?

hah. my general MO: i travel light but am ready to go in 5.

and when i was lessoning both standard & latin, had everything in my car all the time, as usually my life was work-studio-work-studio-work-studio with brief stints at home to sleep.

I always have me street shoes re-soled in leather just in case I pass by a street musician playing something I can swing to.

and an extra 30 minutes to stretch, and to wrap up my delicate, sore, painful toes and feet with assorted bandages, corn cushions and gel pads :)
