Back on the dance floor!

I went out to an Argentine Tango class and dance Saturday night!!
First time out dancing in many moons. (I have a heart condition that's kept me at home.)
DF has helped me to focus on dance again, and specifically, Miss ReneeJoan has encouraged me to go out dancing. So I did!
And it was fun.
I felt good about it - it lifted my spirits.

That's spectacular news! Just remember to take it easy until you're back into the swing of it. You don't want to push too hard too fast.

I'm so happy for you! I remember the feeling of absolute freedom that came over em when I got back to the studio for the first time since my accident. It's AMAZING!!!

I am SO GLAD you came on Saturday. I really enjoyed meeting you, and so did my friends -- more than one gentleman expressed his disappointment to me that you had to leave so early!! And I was so impressed that not only did you have the courage to come, you participated in the class, pounced on the men as eagerly as me, and danced swing and assorted ballroom as well as the tango. I was very concerned that you would "overdo," so I was watching you like a hawk for signs of ill health, but you seemed to do really well with that level of activity.

Give the lady a medal folks, because based on some of the things CCC Cat has told me privately, she showed an extraordinary level of courage the other night.

Plus, she is overly modest about her ability to dance and about her looks -- my jaw nearly dropped off my face when this stunning redhead shyly came up to me and said, "Renee? . . . ."

Thank you for the much-needed 'push.' It was great to meet you, and all the friendly tango-ers. It's nice to hear that the gentlemen missed me! That swing was very tiring, but I did it! I enjoyed myself and felt buoyed up the rest of the weekend.
