Back-to-School "Must Haves"--Eesh.

CD player??? Personal computer??? What the hell was that??? Way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and I was in college, I was happy with one phone for four girls and my set of hot rollers!!!
 
Back in the mists of time when I was in college, we were happy to have an electric typewriter. Oh, how I wish we had computer's back then. The white out I went through was enough to break the bank... :shock:

Eeesh, I feel old. Whatever happened to a hot pot, shower basket, a tv, cd player, and a computer? And even then, the computer was optional b/c of the computer labs. And so long as one person in the group of friends had a vcr/dvd player, it was all good. Ditto for a car.

nah, just advertisers these days.....ours is pretty spoiled and he took nothing on that list...he did take our older caddy, about 200 dollars worth of dishware from disney world, his wii, and a very upscale futon...shrug....

In my day we would dream of a slate and a piece of chalk..........

If we we were lucky we would 'ave laces in our shoes.
 
Peaches, you forgot the coffee machine, one of most important things in my dorm room. cooffee to help me get up in morning, then run pot of plain water through to make ramen noodles in the styrofoam cup. :)
