Ballroom Dance & Glamour -- new book!

Today is the official publication date for my newest book, Ballroom Dance & Glamour! Unlike my previous work on ballroom, this project allowed me to use the images as the driving force, with complimenting and contextualizing text.

Drawn from my ballroom-research photographs (starting with film in 2002 and switching to digital in 2005) this large-format, full-color book offers a rich glimpse into the magical moments and performances that, ultimately, are the purpose of all the dedication, energy, and effort in the ballroom world.

Pre-release endorsements from Nadia Eftidal, Louis van Amstel, and Iveta Lukosuite can most easily be read at the publisher's website (here), but the book is also available from Amazon (here), etc.

Thanks M4, bia, and j_a! :D

Some minor printing mistakes not withstanding, I'm very pleased with the overall layout and production!

It looks great! Which way would you prefer us to order it? Not sure if it would be more beneficial through Amazon or Bloombury for you.

Thanks MM! I'm not honestly sure how the press rates sales through Amazon, etc., but please just feel free to do whatever is easiest for you!

The book's pre-publication endorsements (shorter versions are on the back jacket cover):
“This book is an accurate representation of the beauty and glamour we have come to know (and expect) in the world of ballroom dancing. Enjoy!” – Nadia Eftedal, former US and British Open Professional Latin Champion

“In all my years in the ballroom dance industry I've never seen a photographer take so much pride in his work like Jonathan. His depth of knowledge shows so clearly in his photography, it's truly a must have for every dancer and dance lover alike. Jonathan's journey through pictures is as much enjoyable as educational. Two thumbs up!” – Louis van Amstel, former US Professional Latin Champion, Amateur World Latin Champion, Dancing with the Stars pro and So You Think You Can Dance choreographer

“Jonathan Marion brings images to life to show the passion, athleticism, beauty and grace of dance. He has captured the most memorable moments of the greatest ballroom dancers in the world.” – Iveta Lukosiute, former US and World 10-Dance Champion, So You Think You Can Dance competitor and Strictly Come Dancing pro
