Ballroom Shoes for a Juvenile Girl

I have been scouring the web and D also tried on some shoes at a local competion a few weeks ago, so we have some idea what is available here (and at what price).

She needs to get shoes with 1.2" block heels at the size 37 EU/ 4½ UK/ 7 U.S. The last is a guestimate and, of course, there are differences between manufactures too.

At this point it seems Supadance 1666 or 1007 is the one we could both get and afford. Unfortunately they are not a perfect fit, so other recommendations would be welcome.

If you know of a site that sells nice shoes for fair price and ships to Europe, please, share with us. :)

My daughter wears this shoe:

These are a 2" heel, and I'm not sure if they come lower. She wears a size 3.5 (usually wears a ladies size 7!!!). They've been really good, although she will usually get a blister for the first couple of wearings. These are $92 here, but we get a 20% discount...I imagine they're cheaper in Europe.

Thanks. Those are pretty, but forbidden for 1.5 years more. :)
They are cheap at the British site, but not here in Finland. The local price is 72€, which is about average, really.

D actually has the G1011. She doesn't like them at all, even agreed to not go see 'Prince Caspian' in order to get new shoes this month. D also has a used pair of Roch Valley Aduos, which she loves, but may no longer wear due to the heel.

After all the pondering and quite a bit of searching, we decided on Roch Valley Phoebe (or Pheobe if you look at the RV site). It is risky buying without trying, but hopefully they are shaped similarly inside as the Aduo model that fit D like a glove.

We'll only know when they arrive. But for now, we're cautiously optimistic.

Did you see the Supadance style 1666:

Thanks love_to_dance. :) Supadance was the 'fallback plan', because she's tried those on and we'd have known what size to get, but they looked a bit odd on her feet.

The new shoes arrived today. We had wonderful service and a very good price (under £35 including postage) and they fit. There is a little bit of space at the front, but not nearly as much as I worried. It gets smaller when she stands up, in the picture she was sitting.

Based on the experience of two pairs, I am inclined to think that Roch Valley shoes work well with the shape of my daughter's feet. The only problem is that no-one is selling them here, so they have to be ordered from the U.K.

D is happy with her pretty new shoes and even the wide cuban heel doesn't bother her anymore. :D
