Ohhhh must be so hard being a handsome tango dancer. YEH RIGHT.
Not that I'm calling myself particularly good-looking or skilled with dancing, but there have been times at (ballroom) social dances when I've felt a little hunted. Sometimes I've had to make sure not to sit in any one place for more than half a song, keep moving, and not make eye contact with any follower unless I mean it as a dance invitation.
Yup, if folks are going to tell me that this is in my head, a bad attitude, a nice problem to have, or the like -- look, I won't argue. When I was a total beginner I was miserable at socials because few people agreed to dance with me, and those that did (so I felt) couldn't possibly be enjoying it. It's a lot of fun now feeling comfortable dancing with lots of different people who have lots of different experience levels. But, I hope I won't seem arrogant if I say that I can see a way of looking at OP's question as a serious one.
BTW, this is one reason I'm a fan of mixers. Everyone gets the luck of the draw, there's no choosing or being chosen, and anybody who wants to sit out is left to his/her own devices for the duration.
