Best Compliment(s) You've Ever Gotten On Your Dancing

These are a couple months old, keep forgetting to post:

1. Coach told me I had great legs. Yay! Went on to lament that I wasn't using them enough. D'oh.

2. A fellow student approached me at a party to let me know that she had told the coach (same person as in #1 above) that I was the dancer she most admired and wanted to "be like", said I was clean but gutsy (and a few other things). tbh, I almost choke-cried, thankfully the lights were down. And to think I almost didn't attend that party because I was feeling tired.

So after several months of taking this class on and off, I finally realized that the back row(s) is/are actually the coveted spots, not sure how I didn't notice that much sooner. Now I take a spot in the front row which is less crowded and I have fewer people competing with me for space. #oblivious

I am neither Cuban, nor black.
 
I was once practicing with my partner in a somewhat empty studio and a couple of newbies came for their first lesson with another instructor. That instructor made them watch us waltzing around as an example, I guess. The newbie lady said to me afterwards: "wow, I couldn't stop watching you, you danced so beautifully". It sounded genuine and is still the best compliment I ever received.
 
To my partner, from another follower:

"You're dancing even better -if possible- after this travel to BsAs.
I understand why your leader left me on the dancefloor and ran to you when you arrived."
 
Once I was in starbucks and I was doing my freestyle to some song, and this lady walked by and told me I was a really good dancer
 
Danced in Dupont Circle on Saturday afternoon as part of the Washington, DC Lindy Exchange. I asked a woman to dance, and when she said she was leading, I offered to follow, but cautioned that since we were dancing on concrete (which forces one to change their dancing compared to a proper dance floor), my following was likely to be "a train wreck". At the end of the song, she said "What are you talking about? You're a wonderful follower." Which was a particular surprise given the number of times she led jockeys to give me a chance to get my feet back in sync....
 
A former US smooth champion told my pro gow well i danced at the last comp,that I was leading everything and very active and athletic.

Later my Latin pro said one of our competitors pros that was on the floor with us notticed me and wanted to come shake my hand in the middle of the heat! " your guy was really dancing not just being led around" he said.

Too bad they weren't judging lol
 
"Oh wow! You're already trying to take charge! This is what? Your third class? Most men start to remember using their hands by the sixth or seventh class!"

Needless to say, that it made my day.
 
"I saw you line dancing last week, and I was like, good God!"

I'll take it!

(Clarification - they often play one or two easy line dances at the practice party, e.g. Cupid Shuffle, Wobble, etc. I find these are good times to experiment with moves and embellishments).
 
From a pro at my recent comp:
"You're a beautiful dancer. We were dancing against you, and I wished we weren't, because I was trying to watch you while we were dancing. Your extension - your head looks like it is going to float away."

From another dancer, same comp:
"I saw you warming up, and I was praying we weren't against each other. I've never been so happy that someone was younger than me."
