Anyone planning on buying/reading it?

It has just been released here. It is a hefty one - I didn't check the number of pages but looking at it, I would guess that it is easily over 1,000 pages? Hmmm. I think it would make interesting reading but, I am still trying to get through some other books  might have to leave this one for Christmas :( :D

957 pages. Less than $20 at the discount bookstores. Worth the read? I have no idea, but I'm going to find out. Only $18.57 at my local discount warehouse club. LOL.

 Daylight Robbery!!! The recommended price here is £25 but 3 places where I have seen it have been offering £5 off. Even at the pre Iraq war exchange rate of about $1.50 to the £ (it is approximately $1.80 at the moment) we are paying roughly $30 here (using the old exchange rate)

I don't know if I could read 1,000 pages of an autobiography of a person I liked; I certainly wouldn't spend money on Bill Clinton's version of the truth. Heck, even the NY Times panned it.

 Vince! A politician is a politician is a politician  Of course he has to be careful about what he says otherwise the media will make mass out of what he wrote and maybe some enterprising lawyer might try and sue him for what any "lies" he may or maynot have told whilst in office? (Anything you say can and will be used against you, kind of thing)

Clinton did say that he did what he did with Monica Lewinsky "because he could". I like the fact that he came out and said it rather than continuing to hide behind excuses of having a back problem and ummm, it helped relieve his back problems.

. . . oh, you mean the one entitled My Lie???

You must be confusing it with The Road to Kennebunkport, Or, How My Daddy Pulled Strings to Keep Me from Getting Busted for Coke and from Going to Vietnam. Or perhaps Senility, Perestroika, and the Politics of Arms Brokering.

Oh no wait--I forgot. Both of those have been shortened and included in Mundungus Teufelsdrock's Lives of the Saints. I'll have to see if I can find a tattered copy for bathroom reading, and in case my guests get constipated.
