California Star Ball 50th

Just wondering if anyone here is coming to LAX for California Star Ball. They turn 50 this year... Are they the longest running comp in the US?

yup... Organizers always bring all the top dogs... I've seen there Gherman & Iveta, Bryan Watson & Carmen, Christopher & Justina Hawkins?, Michael Malitowski & Joanna and a few others that have slipped my mind...

Hopefully I watch what I eat on Thanksgiving so I don't end up like over stuffed to dance on Friday

It started last night. Very fun competition. Well run and a good crowd. Unfortunately, I didn't do a good job of noting the winners other than in my own events.

Open Amateur Standard winners were Ira and Abby Pollock. Professional Standard winners were Andrea Faraci and Iveta Pauryte. Mikhail Avdeev and Olga Blinova were second.
