My man is going to Canada for a course through his work and he's going to be extending his stay for a few days to see some sights while he's there.

He's going to be just south of Toronto for the course. Anything around that area worth seeing?

Definitely. PM sent.

Some people like malls. I must admit that I am not one of them, but I know a lot of people that do not miss an opportunity to shop.

if we are talking toronto here....(ie CN tower)...let me also say awesome dining
Amen to that! I haven't found a better variety of authentic cuisine from so many ethnicities anywhere else. (There are many places in the world that I haven't had a chance to explore as thoroughly as I'd like, so this is just within my experience)

South of Toronto? That's in the lake!

I had the opportunity to take a number of business trips to Toronto on a program I worked on a few years ago. I always liked Toronto. Nice people, good food, lots to see. I'll try to dig up the names of some of the places where our group used to go eat. One that I do recall is the Fish House, on Shepherd Rd. just east of the Don Valley Parkway. There was also a great steak place, which I've gone blank on the name of, at the intersection of Shepherd and Yonge St. More info later.

Also, Niagra Falls is about a 1-1/2 hour drive away. And it's better to see it from the Canadian side.

Ugh...bummer, I'll be shopping while they ?????? Yeah...let's slip ol' MQ in the mall while we go find the am partners. I got your number!

I think that's the difference between East & West Coast.... My friend who moved to Montreal kept on saying how cheap the things are when they're on sale, i guess it's just more demand there.
