I love rueda! I take a group lesson every thursday night. I have also noticed that different teachers do slightly different things with a same call so you have to get on board with whomever is teaching. Anyway, any good places to check out new moves?
Rudea is great, especially when the group really starts to flow and while everyone messes up every once in awhile, if there is no one that really holds the entire circle down, its amazing!!

Welcome to df salsaonone! I too really enjoy rueda. There are, as yous ay, many different styles and calls. The most fun is had when the dance hews close to it's community spirit.

Thanks everyone for the nice welcomes! Its good to share my passion with other people....!! I consider myself an "advanced beginner"...better than the people who are just starting, and will never have the time to be as good as some...but I can hold my own now...and at the point where I can pick up a new move at a non-beginner rate...I learned salsa the ballroom style and as my nickname indicates, its salsa on the one beat. I would like to learn how to salsa/mombo on 2 or 3 but that would require me to start all over again..hehe :)
