CBS Star Search: Young Theater Arts Couple

I've never seen them dance, but I've been to the studio where they train. It's not a place that has any other partner dancing. It's Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-hop, etc. It's huge too. The place feels at least 20,000 square feet with many large rooms for classes. It's called Dance Empire.

Yes, "frantic and busy" was also what I was thinking. They were a little too "jumpy" and seemsed to rush things at times. Of course, I would be pretty "frantic" if I was 17 (or even 14) and on national television.

There seems to be a little more interest by the networks in showing partner dancing on television, and I'm glad to see these young people performing on TV.

nice videos, interesting chorepgraphy...a bit frantic and busy for my taste, but then maybe I am just accustomed to seeing ballroom theatre arts as opposed to pop-ballet or pop-lyrical.
Same here... but with the same caveat as well. Good for them though, and they have *lots* of time to mellow out, right?

I enjoy watching Candace and Brandon, even if they aren't exactly "Theatre Arts". Some partner dancing is better than no dancing!

I missed last nights show--who's the current dance champ?

I while back there was a salsa couple. I was rooting for them, and they were good, but you really need to be spectacular to win on that show. And I think it's hard to couples to impress the judges in the short time they're give to perform.
