Where do you purchase your music CDs? The only two I know of is Dance Plus in Toronto and DanceVision (las Vegas). Need to know other sources.
Thanks in advance

I like Dance Shopper in the US, and Dancesport Australia in AU. Dancelife also has some good CDs, but they tend to be specific to the brand. The other two offer CDs from different labels.

OK, gotta be careful about this.

Moderators if you feel this response is inappropriate feel free to delete but it is in response to a direct question.

I am a distributor in Canada for DanceVision products although I do very small business because most people will order directly. As such I keep very small stock on hand.

Depending on what you want I can often get it cheaper for Canadians.

Mostly I deal locally here in Victoria. My wife's website is definitely out of date:

http://www.dancingdragon52.com

And the CDs listed are not my current catalogue.

Usually what we do is just organize bulk orders, make a group purchase and pass savings on to everyone, e.g., I just sold 22 CDs that sell for $28.95 + GST + PST at DancePlus for $29.00 each all taxes included. If you buy 5 at DP you can do slightly better than that though.

DV has raised prices recently but I bought $US at $1.04 in November. I'll be in Las Vegas in May and will be loading up on product and should be able to do better than $29 on singles. I get 2 CD sets like Ballroom Mix 4 for $36 all taxes included.

The margins on CDs are very narrow but I can usually get DVDs at much lower prices.

Anyways this forum is not for commercials but if you need something and are interested contact me through my wife's website and I'll see what I can do.

We only deal with cheques but can provide background info to verify who we are.

I get a lot of my cds from Pro Dance. They are at many competitions, but I think their website is www.prodance.com Price might be an issue, but usually if you want it, they can get it. I've known and shopped with them for years :)

Oh well...the link leads to nowhere, but I'm only 3 posts away from being something other than a tradesman, and I saved a bunch of money by switching to geico :)

Pro Dance is real...though their link sucks...or my link :)

I actually found a ballroom CD and DVD combo at BestBuy awhile back. $8, I think. It was on amazon.com as well but listed for something like double that. The DVD is demos, not instructional.

I'll put in another vote for dance shopper. I only have the two ballroom cds so far, but hey're both from dance shopper, and I've been very ahppy with orders from them in general (shoe bag, shoes, cds, latin shirt, practice pants, etc).
