Chacha showcase: I have nothing to wear!

I am doing a chacha presentation with my teacher (we're dancing on "Walking on the Sun") and I can't for the life of me figure out what I'm going to wear.
I don't want to wear a comp dress/costume because it's a pretty informal choreography, but I don't want to wear a plain old skirt and blouse either. I'm thinking perhaps some fancy dancewear in an intense colour or something like that. I really liked A&D couture as a style (Max and Yulia's sponsors) but they haven't replied to my e-mails and I'm betting my hat it's a really expensive choice.
Help!

Hey TE, I agree with ccccat. There are plenty of well priced "practice" type flirty skirts that work well. Wear a form fitting top and perhaps top it off with a rhinestone belt or something sparkly.

Oh and don't forget the dance trunks in the same color as the skirt! *grin*

I would say, seriously, wear what you feel best in. I find that if I feel good in what I wear the dancing is good.

Here's a cute, sexy, swingy orange ("sun") dress: (just add the http:// in front)

I'm currently in love with this dress by A&D couture: http://www.ad-couture.com/adStore/pages/shoot0626_003.htm

There are also some pics of it at Max and Yulia's site: http://www.ymdance.net/hi-res/
It's fun, it's flirty, and boy, do I love black and white. ;) I've contacted the seller and she said she'll e-mail me the price and assorted info. If it's affordable, I'm going for it.
I've found a mini strapless dress that looks cool, but it's totally motionless. If all else fails, I'll hit the streets and hopefully I will find something.

I LOVE that dress too! Let us know about that company's prices. Yulia used that dress when her and Max demo'd at the Blackpool Congress for Alan Fletcher's lecture.

Cool, so you've seen it live? What's it like? Does it move as well as it looks? Does the fluffy skirt look weird? It's only on one side so I was afraid it might look like a big fluffy tail.
