Clothes that make you want to dance

Inspired by Granola's thread on Movies that make you want to dance, are there clothes that you see that make you think wow! I wanna dance?

Beto included a YouTube of the tango scene from Take the Lead. I love how the girl/lady's dress goes from long to short.

I also love how the skirt in this clip moves of Max Kozhevnikov & Yulia Zagoruychenko Pirates of the Caribbean routine (thanks SD ;)). It is like it has a life of its own. Makes me wish I could sew/create skirts or garments that could move like that. Oh, and it also makes me wanna dance! :banana:

For the first time ever, I finally found something that makes me want to dance. Of course, I need to get it shortened so that i don't step on it, but that's the story of my life.

It's a black dress with a pretty-much-open back (like a halter neck, but with a band that goes from the back of the neck piece under the arms to connect to the bodice), and the hem is cut on an angle. It's above-the-knee length in front, and angles down so that it's long (currently floor-length) in back. I really just want to dance AT in it.

I swear that I dance better while wearing a the vest and pants from a three-piece suit, especially if they have pinstripes.

Sweet. All you need then is a pair of black & white wing tips, and a slick hat. Nice...
 
and he also likes pinstripes and I don't....sigh...we have a don't ask don't tell policy about what we choose to wear...he rarely likes my choices as well
 
Yet another case of you two sounding like an old married couple. ;)

But BOT, I can't think of any clothes I've ever had that really made me feel like dancing. Music, situations, places, but not clothes. Dunno
 
I'll second the twirly dress/skirt idea.

But for some incredibly strange reason, what really makes me want to dance is a pair of jeans, a low-cut black halter top, and my red salsa shoes.
 
:nope: This is not meant to be about clothes you own that make you want to dance.

It is about clothes that you SEE on someone else, that make you want to dance (unless of course, you are wearing something, dancing and looking at yourself in the mirror) ;)

For instance, I saw what Yulia Zagoruychenko was wearing and I am like... wow! I wanna dance! :banana:

It is the movement of the material that catches your eye, poetry in motion, making you want to be in motion!

I think you are too late Pacion. THe cats out of the bag and wearing a twirly skirt and red salsa shoes. Can that cat ROCK>>>:cool::cool:
