Coming to San Diego? (San Diego DanceSport)

Is anyone coming to San Diego for San Diego DanceSport (June 10-12)?

Initially, I wasn't going to be able to compete, because there was a conflict between USABDA Western Regionals and SD DanceSport, but the SD organizers moved their open amateur events to Sunday night, so I guess I'll be able to dance along with watch the Pro show.

I guess that just makes for more dancing in one weekend :-) (I don't think I've ever done 2 comps in one weekend)...

Hey Porfirio,

Great news on SD Open moving the Ama events to Sun night - in that case I think we'll be coming as well. Originally weren't going to because of the scheduling conflict, but that is now resolved...

Perhaps we should spread the word to make sure we get as many couples as we can - it will be exciting dancing along with the pros!!!

Wow, that was incredibly wonderful of the organizers to do this. It was a bit of a suprise when I realized that the San Diego Open was the same weekend as the USA Dance Regionals...USABDA had been doing their Regional in mid-June for years, and the San Diego Open used to be in April, but then everything changed.

Well, good luck to all the "road warriors" who are going to do both events!

Can you believe I'll be out of town?
It figures... are you at least going to something dance-related?
Not even.

I'll be in Boston for some business and family realted things...but at least I'll still be there the next weekend for the Yankee Classic. If I'd "managed" to be on the opposite sides of the country for both of them on back-to-back weekends...

Supershag will not be there this year. The hotel is probably one of the best comp locations in the U.S. Definately a place where I would go for a vacation,Cheers Chris
