Costume/dance combos

Okay, hypothetically...

You're writing a children's book, or something like that... It's set at a costume party. What kinds of costumes would you pair up with what kind of dance?

Hansel and Gretel-Polka
Two people dressed as chefs-The Mashed Potato
....?

Two insects (jitterbugs) = Swing

 

[Rosa]

For a couple: one dressed as a tomato and one dressed as an olive = Salsa.

Increase size of group to include other vegetables. Alternate vegetable costumes depending on type of salsa required.

For tango - a costume of "Tang" (like the drink) standing next to a costume of am "O" (like a donut).
