Countdown to 2010

As the year and decade come to an end, think back on where you were ten years ago at this time and how much has changed in your life.

I was a freshman in high school and the biggest worry I had was who I would sit with at lunch and whether I would get to ride the bus with the cool clique in the marching band. Its silly now but for four years it was the one thing I loved to do.

It would be ten more years before I found anything else I felt passionate about. Between then and now, I graduated high school, enlisted (and washed out), fell in love and moved in with first love, went to college, lost an unexpected pregnancy, got my first job, moved out on my own, lost my first love and lost my first job, but discovered my life's one true passion. The coming year promises a fresh new beginning for me, I'm sure.

How about you?

I think I was in the US. That was the year I first came to US to be an aupair. I was with a family in CT and I still keep in touch with them. The girl just turned 16 years old. Hah! I am getting old!
