Country and Western Dancing

Is this also called the Pony Swing?
I bet this could be called the Pony Swing, ha. But what I mean by Country Swing isn't this. First I would say it was categorized by "jerking and pulling" and using "stretch" connection to move away from each other. Then I think there was a period where lifts were added into the dance. Right in the middle of the dance and the dance floor. But now I see more of a turn towards "Country Swing Fusion", where moves from West Coast Swing are borrowed and the dance is more slotted.
 
Anytime I see "Jerking" I start thinking shoulder injuries. And the line between "pulling" and "jerking"or "yanking" is subtle but real important.

I have similar issues with "pushing" which can become "shoving" with too much enthusiasm leading to loss of balance.
Oh absolutely, it s something else all together. No timing or even footwork in the dance. Sometimes it doesn't even go with the tempo of the music..and then we add lifts and...

I am sure people get injured. It would be difficult not to honestly.
