Couple of MJ questions

Hi. Well I'm new to this forum and I've learned some of MJ's "trademark" moves (moonwalk, sidewalk, sidewalk in circle and moonwalk in square) to SOME degree. I have a few questions regarding MJ's moves: 1) How does he do his spins? I swear he can spin 400 times in a minute if he keeps on going. I can't spin at all - I get extremely disoriented after 1 rotation and fall all over the place. In any case, I can't make all of my momentum go into the spin, and some of that residual momentum knocks me over onto the ground. 2) During the dangerous routine, after the part where he walks forward to meet the audience and away from his dancers, he goes back and starts shuffling his feet (people say the shuffling feet move is James Brown's move). How does he do THAT move? I am completely clueless as to how his feet move - they're too fast. 3) During the end of Billie Jean MJ improvs some moves, and there's his moonwalk in 1 place. There's this version that he does where he actively kicks out with one foot and does something funky with the other (this was done in the Smooth Criminal video as well). I watched his move from the front and it seemed like his feet are moving sideways in very weird but very fast ways. Anyone knows how his feet are moving? 4) How do you do the moonwalk in a CIRCLE? I know the moonwalk in a square like MJ does in Smooth Criminal but how do you do it in a circle? Well, that's a lot of questions for now. Thanks a lot! 5) Last question: how does MJ do his kicks? I mean the one where he kind of jumps forward a bit and then thrusts his leg at the audience. That's a lot of questions for now. Thanks a lot!

His turn is simply the wait on the ball of his left foot and using his pilae to gain his momentum. His single turn involves the same fashion only he places his right foot on the ground and simply does a 180 turn. (Other half comes from carrying it across)

2 & 3

I know how to do both these moves and they are EXTREMELY difficult to explain without a visual reference. Anyways, I'll do my best:

2) Put your right foot slightly in front of your body now turn your feet toes pointing out.

Heel Toe Toe Heel Toe Toe -- That is what your feet will do starting with the right. It will sort of "flow"

3) Very similar only there is a "slide" in it -- Your left foot kicks toe heel followed by right foot going heel toe and then bringing the right foot forward again (after heel toe) and stepping down while sliding the left foot back. Once left foot slides back kick again.

4) Moonwalk in a circle has a sideglide in it. If you know how to do both of those just put it together.

5) His kick is basically both feet together and then he brings his leg up and hits a front attitude (If you ever done ballet) -- If you haven't, it is trying to make your leg parallel to ground when it is bent at the knee.

I think that I'll wait for my blisters to heel before I even think about doing any of those moves, but they sound like fun!

Thanks everyone. Question concerning the moonwalk in a circle: I should have clarified. MJ does the moonwalk in a circle in lots of different ways. He has this moonwalk in a circle in one spot, his moonwalk in a circle while going sideways (so his revolving and sliding sideways) and there's his moonwalk in a circle in a circle (he's revolving AND sliding in a circle - I seem to remember Usher doing it around MJ during his 30th anniversary in Madison Square Garden). I know how to do the sidewalk in a circle, just not the above three. Backstreet, could you elaborate on how to combine the sidewalk and the moonwalk together? I assume that you use that for the moonwalk in a circle in one spot, but then how do you do the other two? Thanks! PS: How come when I press enter twice I can't put any line breaks? Everything's bunched up together instead of the format I want it to be...
