Dance DVDs - Most Popular Genre?

I am doing research on the most popular dance genres between tap, street, salsa and Latin American for dance instructional DVDs. Any thoughts or opinions on which genre leads the pack? I don't necessarily mean your personal favorite, I am trying to decipher the biggest hits commercially.

I am also looking for statistics to find out the number of each DVDs of the mentioned genres sold in Australia, the US and the UK. Does anyone know if there is somewhere I can find this information?

Asking dancers isn't a good way of doing the research. Dancers will only have serious knowledge of their area and so you effectively end up doing an unintentional poll of how many dancers study any given style. Random public sampling would be better. Another way would be to contact a website, such as Netflix, and see if you can get data on how many DVDs in each genre are rented.

Thanks for the input! Any other thoughts on where to get serious research besides Netflix? I have also tried to check Amazon with no luck.
