Dance Studios in Rhode Island

Hello collected knowledge of DF. I live in Waltham MA (Boston metro), and my dance partner lives in Wakefield, RI. We can't find a studio near her to practice in, so she drives the 2 hours each way to practice twice a week.

Anyone here know of a good studio to practice standard/smooth in (not too small, allows people to come and practice, and charges somewhere around $10-$15/hr or $100-$150/month floor fee) that's close to Wakefield, RI (like Providence)?

thanks!
Chen

Hi Chen -

I don't know any studios in Rhode Island, but this teacher mentions teaching at Studio I in Lincoln, RI, so maybe that is something to check?

Good luck!

Try The Dancin' Feelin' in Warwick, RI. Not sure if that is in the general area that would be convenient to you though. Nice people there.

Hey Chen,

The closest studio would indeed be The Dancin' Feelin' in Warwick. It is run by Kathy St Jean and Randy Deats. The only other ballroom studio I know of is brand new and closer to the MA boarder (Lincoln, RI). It is called Studio One. I teach there from time to time. PM me if you have questions about space.

Side Note: There used to be one in East Greenwich that was awesome (about 10,000 sq feet) but it has unfortunately closed its doors.
