Dancing With Brides

Your vote can help get this nice young couple into the competition, the following is part of an e-mail they sent me:

One computer (IP) can cast one rating for one couple from New York, Dallas, and Chicago *every 24 hours until July 8th*.
The highest rating (5 stars) can be achieved by double clicking on the right most star.
Thank you very much for your continuing support.

I wonder, why they all do the same figures, an underarm turn and a dip? And if this is foxtrot, why don't they move on the line of dance? :)

The couples are very cute though, I wish them all the best in the world.

I think it would be so very great if all wedding couples who take up lessons in preparation for their first dance would actually learn to dance, at least a little.

update

UPDATE -
just got this e-mail:

Dear All,

We would like to thank you for your overwhelming support.

The Brides magazine finished the popularity vote and decided who will
have the chance to win the dance contest.
WE ARE FINALISTS! :)

Soon, we will compete on the dance floor against two couples from Dallas.
As soon as the video recording session is finished we will inform you
about the result!

Thanks again and have a great day,

Sarah & Joerg

update from Sarah & Joerg:

Dear All,

Thank you so much for your support during the "Dancing with Brides"
competition! Although we did not win the final yesterday, we found out
that, thanks to you, we were the couple with the most online votes -
13,000 votes (out of 62,000 total for all couples)!

Tonya and Ty from Dallas won the $10,000, and, while the money would
have been great, it is wonderful to have family, friends, and coworkers
like you who support us.

Thanks again,

Sarah & Joerg

P.S.: If you are interested in participating in next year's event we
would be happy to share our experiences. ;)
