Dancing with little experience

So as a child I did ballroom and latin, did the examinations, attended competitions, got all my rosettes etc.. started becoming a teenager and decided to quit for whatever reason. I soon came to regret this but didn’t have the courage to back, I ended up going back last year (I’m now 20) but I’ve only managed to do very few sessions because of the lockdowns. Ballroom and latin is the only dancing experience I have, and I’m no longer familiar with it as much anymore with me having only just gone back, and I’m just worried I won’t be good at any other forms of dance, even though I want to get into them so that I have a shot of going to an actual dance school to get qualifications. (I have no dance qualifications, it’s only ever been a hobby). Sometimes I’ll try to copy some dance moves from videos online and I feel as if I just can’t do them properly or look silly. I don’t know if I’m just being paranoid and need to believe in myself more. But if I do go to a dance school or even just talk to my current dance teacher about it, can they teach you how to properly move if ever you feel like you can’t do something correctly? Or are you just automatically ruled out as not having the talent for it.

See my reply on your other thread.

Are you wanting to get back to ballroom and latin, or try another style of dance this time?
