Designing your own MP3

After reading about how much some DFers love their MP3, if you could design your own, what additional features would you add/wish it had?

Materialising a magical dancing genie isn't an option!

...would read my mind and play the correct type of song when I'm practicing dancing with it on....okay, probably too much to ask for....

Would have a search function that could grab song title and artist name just from listening to what the local dj is playing.

I realize this is probably a wild-wishlist thread, but for features where you can describe an algorithm, making or customizing an mp3 player that provides them is not entirely out of the question.

I've been working on a video player that provides better frame advance/rewind for studying dance technique... though only as a PC/laptop program - finding a little portable device with enough memory for the caching would be hard (too bad, as otherwise those "disposable" <$100 portable DVD players would be great!)

A feature that could register the tempo, as in bpm or mpm. That way I could quickly and easily order my songs.

I recently downloaded a number of podcasts and am listening to them. When one finishes it stops. What I would love to have, is the option for continous play. That way, I won't have to keep changing screens to select the next one on the list every 5mins or so :?

Edit: The podcasts are on the computer, not on the MP3 player (perhaps that makes the difference?). Either way, I want continous play! please

Does your software allow for a playlist? That'd do the trick I think.
