DF Forum Software Upgraded

There is a weird thing that shows up when I hit "what's new" while I am logged in. In addition to new posts, there is a separate tab for New Profile posts. Clicking on it shows a bunch of odd things, some of which is garbled (overlapping text). Anyone else seeing this?
 
I had a message posted in my profile, and it was all overlapping text. Also, had trouble posting to my conversation page last night. I kept getting an error message. It seems to be working better today, though.
 
Sorry, we have a paid advertiser at the top that we can't move, but also trying to get some help with the auction this year. If we can shore up a few donations, we can hopefully take down the banner in just a few weeks. But please help if you have something you can donate.
 
In case it is any help (to programmers or other DFers), I notice the problem more on smaller screens. My bigger desktop screen seems to be able to manage the banner without cutting things off. The laptop (not a tiny screen, as laptops go) does have things cut off though. Seems to be less of a problem if the screen is wide enough to display the two banners side by side instead of one on top of each other.

So maybe making the auction banner narrower might help those using smaller screens?
