Try dance plus in Toronto, Canada. Sometimes you by like 5 and get one free. (20%) As for used, this forum would be a good place to start. Do you have any CDs in mind?

Try searching for dancevision. Majority of tapes on Ebayare entry level, but the dancevision tapes are all levels and a lot of them are international style.

Dance vision is greate if you live in las vegas. I went there once and they had a stock of CDs that were being sold like 10 -15 dollars. It's quite a ways out of the strip but if you have a car it would not be a problem. By the way have you gone to the local music record shop like Jelly's? You'll have to spend time looking but sometimes they have a section of specialty CDs.

whats the address for dancevision. Is it towards henderson way? Im going there for the nevada star ball maybe ill stop in.

If you get together with a bunch of friends, you can usually get a volume discount by placing a larger order for a lot of cd's from casa musica in germany. They stock a number of publishers in addition to themselves; they also have ISTD books and shoe brushes.

The address for DV is 9081 West Sahara, they are open M-F 8-3:30 and is going toward Red Rock not Henderson. They're in the Lakes business park behind the McDonalds and the cross streets are Durango and Fort Apache. Also, here is the site that have the dicounted CDs at 14.95:

Hope this helps.

Chris,
Have you ordered any of the CDs directly with Casa Musica? I wonder how much the shipping and the cost would be. Is it hard to communicate with this company? thanks in advance.

I was one of the friends rather than the coordinator, who was, unless I miss my guess, a DF'er and so might comment. I seem to recall it took them a little while to process the order - we did have a german speaker on the team available to put on the phone if need be, but I think it finally went through via email alone. What made it worthwhile was that the team was already buying a lot of CD's for the competition, plus all the ones that team members bought so in the end it was quite a quantity.

I'm the one Chris is referring to (forgive me Mr Churchill).

You can order through their website casa-musica.de . It used to be a good deal getting together a large order. The shipping was a wash as opposed to the VAT. They discount by the number of CDs you buy but the first break is at like 10. All the info is at their website.

I've found of late that with the strong Euro, you don't really do any better on small orders than using danceshopper.com in NJ.

They do respond to email of course you can call them. International calls are so cheap these days.

Hope that helps.
