Ugh, salsa on one, uninspired choreography, bored-looking dancers. And if the popularization of ballroom/partner dancing means more examples like Eva Longoria's solo last night, I take all my previous enthusiasm about DWTS back.

Ditto on the Ugh if all of the choreography will be like the opening number. (I'm just watching since I recorded this on DVR.) Too much ballroom style, not enough flava and boring. (Why don't I tell you all what I really think?)

I don't have anything against ballroom style mambo - my complaint wasn't in the vein of the social salsa versus competitive mambo distinction. Both can be great . What I saw on the show was just very mediocre both in terms of choreography and execution.
