DWTS, Season 6, Week 8 ... (spoilers)

Kristi's QS wasn't bad, when seperate they were off, and there seemed to be a spot somewhere after half way through where Kristi misstepped.

Judges scored 9-10-10 ... ... at best a 9.

Wow ... Mario's posture the best I've seen it this season.

Judges scored ... 9-9-9 ... and they didn't even point out what they felt was not quite right, just heaped him with praise.

Oh please, why am I sensing this oculd be a long night watching these judges. Seems to me it could be wise to find ways to differentiate between these dancers, and the audience might even learn something.

And what is this having the dancers do two dances at this point? Maybe they are just trying to see if by giving them two dances they will flub up on at least one, giving the judges a reason to score someone low, or be so obvious of a flub that the audience will also vote someone out?

Marissa did nicely, yet did seem completely fluid. Tony did a nice job choreographing for the song and Marissa's skill level.

Judges scored ... 8-9-9 ... well, ok, this puts her in third so far this evening, and that could be accurate.

Jason did three lifts when they were only permited one per dance.

Also, it did seem as if Edyta did a tad bit more dancing then Jason.

Judges scored ... 10-9-10 ... I just don't see it. :nope:

And Tom ... "It's amazing how good Cheryl looks when she seems to be peering through a feather duster, doesn't she?"

Chrisitan did well for a person with an injury to his arm. There were a couple of places where his dancing looked like walking.

Judges scored him 10-9-9 ... hmmm ... not sure this was that good.

Am I being too picky?

Kristi's spins looked great, yet there seemed to be a bit less samba then there could have been. I also noticed that the costume seemed to hide whether or not there was good samba form. I'm sensing that Ballas has difficulty conveying the differences between the dances to his partner, including last season's, too.

Judges scored ... 8-9-9 ... Kristi is really going to need to focus on the best dances she has done to win this.

Mario was kind of off balance at the beginning, and then again with the twirly lift at the end. His footwork did seem the best either.

Judges scored ... 9-8-9 ... 8 at best for me.

I really feel Tom Bergeron does a very good job playing host for DWTS. He tends to be low key, seems to stay on the side of saying less can say more, seems to poke fun in a playful and humerous way, and seems to keep things flowing relatively well. :notworth: :notworth:

Marissa's mambo seemed to lack a little pizzaz, steps seemd to be off in spots, although I liked her performance skills and her spin at the end.

Judges ... 8-8-9.

Jason's samba ... seemed like he struggled, it didn't seem to flow well, alittle bit clunky in places.

Judges scored ... 7-8-8 ... hmmm ... a 7, think that was the only 7 given to anyone this evening, kind of surprised me, yet it might actually be accurate.

Cristian danced a mambo fairly well, off in places with his foot work, seemed to stand occasionally, yet some other good movements.

Judges ... 10-9-10 ... hmmm ... a bit high. ;)

Oh, and Cheryl's dress ... yowza! :raisebro:
