DWTS Season 6 - who will be on it?

well, most of you know that I danced with Eddie Ares. i decided to dance with Fabian Sanchez at Hotlanta. He and I have been dancing together ever since. We have all new open material. He told me that he was up to be on DWTS. We have been preparing for the chance that he would go. Last night he told me that YES he will be on the show and will leave on Monday!!!!
Can see a pic of us on Supershag, under pictures , Hotlanta, Thursday night, open Mambo... Liz and Fabian..
I have been about to explode....

I don't know... Patrick Stewart had an episode where the captain liked Mambo - can't remember if he danced any, but I think he would give Avery a run for his money.:lol:

According to TV Guide's Michael Ausiello and his recent backstage trip to the tour in NY, we may see Marlee Matlin (The L Word) as one of the celebrities this year.

I would love that! And please, please no more Osmonds.

I really like Marlee. I never saw the film that made her famous but I've seen her pop up here and there on TV, including a great episode of CSI: New York and then her current role as Jodi on The L Word.

Yeah, seriously, no more Osmonds. It was cool liking them in the 70's, from what I remember, but now, please, no more.

I would LOVE it if Marlee were on DWTS, I've been a fan of hers for years. She's even one of the reasons I study American Sign Language and Deaf Culture. I'm already feeling better about this season!

I'll probably be flogged for saying this, but I don't really like Karina or Louis on DWTS. They're of course both phenomenal dancers, and doing the pro dances are great. But neither of them seem to "get" the format. It's like they're insisting on teaching their celebs to dance when that is sooooo not the point, hehe!
Not to mention, both of them come off with this vibe of, "I'm too good to be doing this." (Of course, fact is, they are.) They scowl during the judging, which of course is idiotic, but goes with the game they're playing.
I think it's a show where dancers like Jonathan shine, because it's basically glorified pro/am showcases, and he knows pro/am. He understands it's about making the celeb look good with what they've got at this point in time.
