DWTS Season 6 - who will be on it?

Okay, so I can't help myself. The local station had a little thing on the news after the finale, with "reliable information" that the following would be on the show next year:

Donny Osmond
Florence Henderson
Celine Dion
Kristy Yamaguchi

Has anyone heard anything similar, other than our own thoughts on here because two of the above have been in the audience a lot this season?

(For the record, my husband REALLY hopes the part about Donny Osmond being on is true.)
 
I have heard the first three names bandied about - hadn't heard Kristy Yamaguchi. She would rock, though. I thought I saw some interview with Derek Hough suggesting that he would be paired with Florence Henderson, but I'm not sure about that.
 
Kristi Yamaguchi would be awesome. Figure skaters are flexible with strong feet and ballet training! Apollo is a speed skater and already has similar advantage.
 
I have heard rumors about Kristi doing the show (it's on the FSUniverse boards). No confirmations, though--apparently she's just said that she's been approached and was interested. Though it would be great if she did (finally someone short enough for Louis? Kristi's teeny--most singles/pairs girls are.)
 
Ugh, after this season of DWTS, Ive really had my fill of Donny Osmond. Kind of would be nice NOT to see him on there. Kristi would be cool. Florence would be cool, but not with Derek. He is too young...it would look odd. And I think she would go out soon and I really like Derek and want him (and Mark if possible) in for as long as we can have them. Florence and Jonathan maybe. Or bring Nick back. That would be cool to have him and Florence dance. I just know that when Monique danced with Louis the judges kept commenting about how weird it was because of the age difference, etc. and I dont want that to happen with Derek. As for Celine, I know she was completely in awe of the dancing and wanted to dance with ALL the stars, so I would assume that if it is at all possible she will do the show.

I am pretty sure that anp73ga31 was just speculating. I have a feeling that if Jonathan does the show again this coming season, that they will pair him with someone more "winning".
 
Rachel Hunter is only 38 now, so she was probably about 34 or 35 when she and Jonathan were partners. I know we live in a youth-oriented culture, but I seriously hope that doesn't count as "old"!

Emmitt Smith is also currently 38, so apparently being in one's 30s does not necessarily make one too geezer-ish to have a shot at the ever glamorous mirror-ball trophy, lol.

You're right, Rachel was an exception. But since then he's had Giselle Fernandez, Heather Mills, and Marie Osmond. I think he's due for somebody with a little more potential. (As is Kym.)
 
Jonathan made it into the top 3 (whether or not deservedly is not the point) so that's not too shabby...

Honestly, everyone I talked to who is not a dancer says Jonathan is their least favorite dancer on the show. Bring back Nik instead!
 
I'm on that boat, Ithink. Jonathan just doesn't do it for me. I love Nick!

I also really REALLY disliked Ashly DelGrosso (Costa). I hope they don't bring her back.
 
Normally I don't dwell on 'fantasy' anything, but the vision of Donny Osmond paired with Ashly Delgrosso just came to mind. Happy happy good clean fun. What would the Rumba look like? :eek:
