Dwts - Week 5 - Spoilers

all this brouhaha over her POOOOR NEGLECTED CHILDREN or whatever - can we please focus on the REAL ISSUE, which is

BUH-BYE TONY!!?!?!??!!??!

But Sara is on the road more with her singing. How is that going to be more helpful to her kids?

I think I explained this earlier, but she's on stage for maybe 1 or 2 hours max... she can take the kids with her - which I'm sure she does often.... the rest of the time she's not on stage can be spent with them...

I do give people a benefit of a doubt more so than what I should probably. I gave Sara a benefit of a doubt when the pregnant rumors started to fly. I thought well that's great if she is and I even put in a congrats to her. But to me whether or not you are going through something at home, if you promise to be somewhere then you should fulfill your promise. Sara signed a contract. ABC will probably change it next season in case something else like this comes up. I know though if I had things that came up at home (and I had) then I still would have to work. But I don't make the kind of money that Sara makes to be able to not work. And that's great that Sara does, but I still don't think it's right to drop one thing and nothing else. I'm sure that ABC will change that around for next season though.

I have to go.... I cannot deal with such a judgemental person....

So, just one question. The gig on DWTS is more important than her childrens' well being and her own mental state?

I was taught that no matter what you go through in life that you keep your promises. I'm sorry if you think that is wrong. I would have kept my promise and I would have made arraignments for my kids. They might even enjoy being backstage at DWTS! They could then be with me and then I could continue on with my promise towards ABC (if I were Sara that is). But that's just me though. You might handle things differently, but I was taught differently than you.

Yes, but Sara should be at home too then. She shouldn't be out singing while leaving them home with a nanny or someone else to take care of them until they can make arraignments about the kids.

Maybe she's not even on tour right now - have you checked her schedule? Maybe she tours on weekends during the school year - some singers do that... and maybe she has a tutor that can do the teaching so the kids can travel with you...

I pity you... such judgemental views...

Sara was taking Tony on tour with her. I think that is evidence that she was still on tour. And you are being judgmental as well. You are judging me rather quickly for not being on the board that long. I understand that you are a fan of Sara's but really this is pointless. Again Sara will do what Sara will do regardless of what you and I say here on this message board, and that is her choice to make not mine and not yours.

Hey, point is, she's off the show, which is what we all wanted, right? Its sucks that she quit and left the show in a lurch, yes, but it also sucks that her husband is a sick man and needs help. We can argue about it all week but nothing is going to change...just be glad she's gone. :)

do you think Tony is relieved because he doesn't have to deal with Sara and can get ready to defend his title in Ohio, or do you think he resents her dropping out because he is very competitive and wanted to stay in as long as possible? Not that we will ever know...

I do feel sorry for Tony. Who knows? They make more money the longer that they stay in, so he might wanted to have stayed for the money, but then again maybe not.

What I would do and what you would do are two different things. I think that you are judging me because I am not agreeing to your perspective.

And what you and Sara would do are very different as well. You don't agree with her either. I'm so glad we're all different people, and respecting each other's views is necessary- so wouldn't that include you of her's? Now we can all agree to disagree and get over this- geez

To me there could be atleast two reasons that would be appropriate for leaving DWTS ...

1. Physical health
2. Mental/Emotional health

Sara's situation could very likely fall into the second, and she could be trying to reduce overall stress whether or not she remains on tour.

Besides, I suspect the network likely has contingency plans for such situations, and the show will go on. :car:

How you view my opinion is also being judgmental, but I think that Dancepoet has asked us to move on from this conversation. So, I've said all that I have wanted to say about this topic. Thank you.
