We're getting down to the wire...only 5 couples remain. This week they dance both a smooth/standard dance and a Latin one - and solo work is required in the Latin one. Interesting to see how that'll turn out...
Lance & Lacey - foxtrot & samba
Brooke & Derek - tango & mambo
Maurice & Cheryl - quickstep & paso doble
Cody & Edyta - foxtrot & mambo
Warren & Kym - tango & jive
At first blush, it looks like Brooke & Derek have it made for another week - although I'm unsure of his choreographic prowess in mambo...could be a bit dicey. I think Maurice & Cheryl drew the crap stick this week - Maurice is notoriously weak in the standard dances, and I wasn't really "wowed" with him in the group paso last week...but he could improve. Cody could also be in trouble, but something tells me he'll be better this week than last week. Lance & Lacey and Warren & Kym are both wild cards for me this week...not really sure how they'll do. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Maurice will be leaving us this week, though.
