Electronic Dance music, this is why I dance, it's the electronica. I don't see much other's posting stuff about that here, so I thought I'd start a little somethin'.

Pretty much my favorite dance tracks,

Conga Fury by Juno Reactor
and
Streched by Infected Mushroom

I think EDM is just as inportant as any other dance music.

Conga Fury by Juno Reactor

Conga Fury! I'm a big fan of Juno Reactor. Great stuff. A few of the others that I've been listening to lately:

* Grand National, "Talk Among Yourselves" (from Sasha's Involver)
* Apollonia, "Andromeda Heights" (is this the same Apollonia that sang with Prince back in the '80s? I haven't been able to find out)
* Beatseekers, "Walk of Notes"
* Vadim Zuhkov, "Exit"
* Pretty much anything XM plays by Underworld

Do you do a specific dance, or just free dance? A while back I had an instructor point out to me that a lot of electronica is suitable for cha-cha, so I've been playing with that. Can't get anyone else at the studio interested, though. I'm thinking about putting together an exhibition routine with that instructor. Juno Reactor's "Pistolero", maybe.
