I don’t have a static way of right nor left arm placement. A lot is dictated by follower’s height, her body frame, length of her arms, and type of embrace we are in.

One of my favorite follower has longer arms. My left hand hold is L at same level as the shoulder, our upper arms are touching each other all the way from the elbow to the palm, and the palm hold is slightly above top of her head. I don’t have the left hand hold like that with anyone else. My preferred left hand hold is very different. But with her I have no problem and our dances are very enjoyable.
