European Tango Marathons

I've been looking recently at the possibility of attending a tango marathon in Europe. I'm amazed how difficult it seems to be. With some marathons, they wont tell you where they're being held until you email the organisers. Same thing for finding out how much it will cost.

All very "secret squirrel" IMHO.

For many of them you also have to register months in advance to get on the attendance list.

Has anyone attended a Euro tango marathon or found a review of one?

I was told that they consist of Nuevo 'teachers'...by and for them.

That may explain why they like to keep the numbers down ... lol ...
