Everything I Needed To Know In Life I Learned From Watching Batman

1) There's no such thing as too much labeling of everyday items

2) When in doubt, REVERSE THE POLARITY!!!!

3) It’s always good to have a brightly garbed sidekick to draw gunfire away from you

4) When the Commissioner calls, it’s NEVER good news.

5) You take care of your utility belt and it'll take care of you.

6) There's no such thing as useless information.

7) There's nothing like a bat-climb to help you limber up.

8 ) If you find youself in a room that appears tilted, chances are there are villains lurking nearby.

9) Always make sure the nozzle on the Bat-sleep spray is pointing in the right direction!

10 ) Always make sure your cape isn't stuck in the door of the Batmobile and dragging on the ground!

11) Always make sure you go down the right Bat-Poles!

12) Don't forget to wear your mask!

13) Make sure to wear clean underwear (thermal b if possible)

14) Good grammar is essential to crime fighting

15) You can use "going fishing" as an excuse for anything

16) Its bad on your transmission if your turbines are NOT to speed

17) People ignore most warning signs

18 ) Some criminals can’t or won’t be rehabilitated.

19) Some criminals can change their looks (even race) in any given week. (up to 3 times in 2 years)

20 ) Always check above your head when entering a room for nets that may fall on you.

21) Beware of strong stimulants.

22) Even though a wealthy playboy is being kidnapped in the next room, always take the time to hang up your civilian garb

23) You'll ALWAYS owe your life to good dental hygiene

But did we ever learn how to dance from Batman??? Maybe that was robin?

Batman with Jill St.John ("You swing a pretty mean cape there."). Very first episode aired. Robin was underage and couldn't go into the club, so he had to stay in the Batmobile.

I loved Batman. I suspect I watched it in syndication, though, since I watched it, when I was little, two episodes at a time during the dinner hour, IIRC.

I never saw the dance episode, that I remember. Pity.

What cracks me up about the original post is that I can remember a whole lot of the episodes that prompted the remarks made.

That show was SO campy. I started to say funny, but it really wasn't. It was classic camp. Loved it. All these latter day, dark, truer-to-life Batman shows and movies take themselves way too seriously, IMO.
