feeling guilty

Why not going out tonight? I actually am which is odd considering my semi-Salsa hiatus as of late.

I'll dance a few for you.

 A dancer passing up an opportunity to dance and then checking out forums dedicated to dancing.

You're allowed.

This reminds me of one time in college. Sunday morning not going to church but reading the bible. It did feel a bit strange. Actually someone from the dorm did invite me and I did end up going to church.

I'm sure the combination of 'reasons' is a bit complicated. Maybe one of the bigger ones is that I just felt really off on Saturday, so it didn't seem as exciting. I have also been seriously lacking sleep and I have a bunch of stuff to do around here (not that much of it got done, but I will be able to get up and do more in the morning rather than hitting snooze because I was out late). And every once in a while the 40mile drive (one way) by myself just isn't so appealing.

Tomorrow night one of our salseros is hosting a birthday party, so many of us will be there and there will be dancing.

If it makes you feel better I went out against my better judgement and there was almost no one at the salsa club I went to.

Ouch! 40 miles on a Thursday. I drive 60-70 miles one way on the weekend but weekdays? Not me!

EDIT: Oh. I drive 60 miles Tuesday for my dance lesson. Never mind.

I didn't go out because I fell asleep and never woke up!! Next time I put the alarm on. I do have a worsening sore throat, though, so maybe it was better that I slept... We'll see.

BUT, I refuse to feel guilty. Moi! Never! :)

Zanzibar was dead that night? I was just plain tired and that's why I didn't go. Glad I didn't.

Ditto! I'm overdue for a trip to NYC myself (perhaps February) but until then, we are going to have to live vicariously through Vin :)

You are not alone. Her is one more....
I had planned to go out (practising short steps) but the previous night and the day at work made me too tired. I tried to sleep on the sofa early this evening but it didn't work.

(Previous night was not exciting at all - I just couldn't sleep  )

I don't feel guilty about it. You don't have to follow your plans. You alwayas has a chance to change your mind. Look at it like I (try to) do: I choose to stay home because it suits my purpose taking care of myself.

I have an hour drive tonight for dancing. Gotta admit, that shoves everything up an hour and I have to get ready sooner than I'm ready for. But,
