Floor rolls

I have an audition in January and I still have yet to master a floor roll. Could someone please explain to me how a backward floor roll [sorry, I don't know the specific name] should look/be done? An explanation and/or picture would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! :]

I'm not sure what a floor role is? Have you tried doing a web search? Can you describe more of what it is and perhaps someone here may be able to help.

Im sure it has a more exact name, but I never learned them so I wouldn't know it. It's basically when you get on the ground and do something like a back somersault that puts you in a more convenient way to stand up. Its a jazz step.

Maybe she is refering to a back extension. Basically a backward roll where you push up into a handstand. Then you just put you feet down.Or maybe it is just a backward roll. It is really easy to stand up out of a backward or forward roll.No idea?

hmmm, dont think its a back extension...

Who knows

Can you describe what happens more exactly?

I still think your talking about a kip, from whats been said
