This intermediate-level workshop is intended for Followers who are looking to more effectively articulate their voice within their Lindy Hop.
Even in formalized settings, Followers are often told that they need to wait for signals before they can initiate movement. While it is true that following any dance requires patience and responsive feeling, Andrea and Megan will show you how to connect to your own voice and your own body to find freedom of movement within the Follower's role.
We will also give Followers the experience of leading each other through a simple choreography, which will help them expand their understanding of connection to themselves. No partners needed. All genders welcome.

12:15pm - Speak Softly: The Voice of the Follow
1:15pm - Carry a Big Stick: Practice Assertiveness Through Leading
2:15pm - You Will Go Far: Expand Your Connection
