Thanks! I use Renu, and have never had any problems with them. The only thing is that when I dance I notice that my eyes get very dry, and they bother me when I look up at the lights. I've tried not to, but all of the guys that I dance with are much taller than me, so it's hard not to look up at the lights lol. I'm not sure what to do about this yet. Any ideas?

errghhh I use this stuff as well - never had any problems though - execpt when my lenses are getting near the end of their life and then my eyes will start to feel tired much sooner - but take out lenses and wide awake again

hmm couldn't get to the press release via the address you provided

Hmm - I've used it for years, no problems . . . I've been wearing contacts for so long that my eyes actually feel more comfortable with the contacts in - sort of sticky and dry when I leave them out for too long. Is that wierd?

Maybe that's what my problem is. My lenses could be to old. I never thought about that. Good point lol! ;)

The press release may be accessed from Bausch & Lomb's home page.

I went to CVS Pharmacy over the weekend. The ReNu product, with moisture lock, had been pulled, and a notice regarding the recall was posted.

If you go to www. bausch.com/renu, you can get a certificate for free ReNu solution (not the stuff that has been pulled, obviously) or access a form to return your ReNu w/moistureloc and receive a refund. My Sunday paper ran a huge ad regarding this.

Thank you for the notice about the free coupon or refund offer; I hadn't noticed it before. I went online and registered for a coupon for another bottle of solution. The reply said the coupon should be delivered within 2 to 3 weeks.

I also use Renu with MoistureLoc. According to Bausch & Lomb, only the product shipped from the US plant seems to have this problem.

That explains why there's no mention of this on their UK website.

Yeah, it was only certain production plants that had potential issues.

I had a whole unopened bottle of the stuff, and hated to see it go to waste, but I also don't want my eyeballs to fall out  I was happy that they offered a replacement/coupon.

Bausch & Lomb issued a statement saying that the MoistureLoc product will be recalled worldwide. Additionally, the product will not be re-introduced. Use of the MoistureLoc product may have caused contact lens wearers a greater risk of developing a rare eye infection caused by the Fusarium fungus.

For additional information, please visit the Bausch & Lomb website.

It's important to note that only the MoistureLoc product is affected. Other Bausch & Lomb contact lens products are not impacted, and should be considered as safe as any other brand on the market.

Bausch & Lomb offered a promotion for contact lens wearers to receive a year's supply of contact lens cases (one per month), a free trial size of moisture drops, and coupons for contact lens solution, their brand of vitamins, and a free pair of contact lenses. I received my package over the weekend.
