Free Salsa Music Clip list

I would like to get a free "legal" collection of salsa songs available on the net. It could be compelete files to download or streamed ones.

With legal I mean NO filesharing system that distributes songs without the artist getting payed for it.

With free I mean I don't want to pay for any song.

The ones I know about so far is:

Mambomania
http://mambomania.free.fr/p ecouter.htm
(Comlete .mp3 to download, Dame Cinco for example)

Bobby Cruz
and http://www.bobbycruz.com/
(streamed files)

Do you have any one to add to this list?

File sharing is legal in Canada.

Obtaining files through a P2P network from someone in Canada is equivalent to opening a bank account in Switzerland.

No this is not what I want to use. Since the artist don't have any clue or can neither accept or reject a publication at a filesharing system - I will not use it. I prefer services that the artist has provided himself/herself. Like files published at the homepage of the artist/group.

Since I work as an artist myself - in watercolor, oil & paper - I have decied never to violate any intangible rights.

Two complete .mp3 (downloadable ones) with Orchestra Gitano from the album Salsa Gitana.

You must try them!

I have added them to my playlist.

Did you try www.mp3.com ? I remember downloading some nice Salsa tunes from there around seven years ago. They didn't have any famous recording artists, but it was kind of fun to hear some good independent ones.

Thanks, but this is some kind of filesharing service - isn't it?

That is incorrect. Filesharing is not legal in Canada.

Downloading files is legal, in theory at least. That is to say, it has been ruled that, because Canadians pay a tarriff on blank media, Canadians are 'paying' for the right to download music. This hasn't yet been challenged in the courts by record labels, and who knows whether or not it would hold up.

Uploading ("sharing") files is totally illegal in Canada, and is an action subject to similar legal recourse as in the US. Also, downloading files from someone in Canada is likewise totally illegal, in that case for both parties.

All that Canada's strange laws concern piracy and copyright do is make it, at least for now, legal to download music. They do not allow Canadians to share, nor do they make it legal for anybody else anywhere besides Canada to download music from anybody, Canadian or not.

I haven''t been there in years, but it used to be a place where they had editors who culled through millions of music files submitted by unknown artists looking for exposure. They would post the best ones for everybody to download for free.
