What do you think it might/could be like in Y3000 in terms of everything - teaching, dance socials, events

With the help of future medicine, people will live into their 300's. Population density will be insane, and salsa clubs will be insanely packed. There will be no room for people to shine, or do any kind of turn pattern, and salsa will be danced hip-to-hip. Unfortunately, this will make salsa instructors somewhat obsolete. Water will cost $200/ bottle. Air will cost more.

But if you take inflation in to account $200 should be <$0.01 in today's $$.

Would we get taught by instant downloading the lesson (aka the Matrix)?

Good point. Actually, even at a mere $1/bottle, and at a very conservative 2% annual inflation rate, in the year 3000, that bottle of water would cost, by today's standards:

$138,083,670,082,671,800

That's $138 quadrillion USD. That better be quadruple-filtered. From Fiji.

Lol, that's gonna take a pretty small font on the paper bill to print that many zeros...
