Don´t like it and I know that my dps would not approve it, too. Mind, I´m a tango dancer and we dance very often in close hold.
 
I like Garlic! Its yummy, but I wont eat anything of the sort before going on the dance floor. I pack package of mints in my purse every night I go out. It does iritate me when someones breath smells really bad and you are in a close hold. Happen to me a few times...would it be nice to offer a mint? ir would thar be mean?

If I had a package of mints in my purse I would just take one for myself and then offer the other one to the girl. This way you can get the problem fixed without being rude/embarrassing the other party.
 
What do you mean by a problem with garlic?

I love it.

When I taught at a certain chain, we were not allowed to eat garlic during the workweek!

My mom told she was dancing and then she was remember she ate garlic earlier, then she was told it for her dance partner because she was thinking dance partner act little odd and maybe because of garlic. After my mom was told, dance partner was taken deep long breath outside and inside and told he was eaten garlic too and tried to be not breathing, lol

As a courtesy, I don't eat garlic on my dance days (but seriously make up for it on the other days!); however, I have no problem with it on anybody else's breath, however close the embrace: frankly, it smells better than some of the other breath alternatives out there (coffee with milk, ubiquitous 'hamster cage' etc).
 
OMG. Did I ever tell you about the time I had a tuna sub and nacho cheese chips for lunch ... and THEN remembered I'd scheduled a lesson in the afternoon? :shock:

No amount of citrus Listerine could cover the stench. I felt so guilty.
