I know the name but can't remember his work, I googled him to see a photo and his face is vaguley familiar, 71 is too young to die now, very sad.

And he was just selected last week to receive the Mark Twain Prize from the Kennedy Center.

:( Saw him several times in person. Unfortunately there aren't many quotes of his that are fit to print here ;).

*GUACAMOLE!*

I'm so bummed out to hear this news I want to say all seven of the words you can't say on television.

He was cool.

My favorite thing he ever did was a movie role, the Bishop in "Dogma." I'm going to track down a copy and watch it ASAP.

I hate to lose someone who can make us laugh. It's such a necessary antidote to the world right now. Apart from "seven words..." "Ice Box Man" has to be my all time favorite piece of his. I think of it often as I watch people at work negotiate the communal fridge!

Could be meat.... could be cake.

Does anyone want a ball of fault-ridden chocolate pudding skin?
I'm only going to throw it away.

Ah, memories....
