Does anyone know anything about getting trained in, and then getting a job as a GIS technician?
My husband is weighing different options for his career right now, and is trying to figure out if he can just take courses through ESRI or wherever to learn the programs, or if he actually needs to do the AS/certificate at the community college. He already has a BS, and has worked as a computer tech, but would like to get into the GIS gig.
