Gleb Makarov

I currently compete in ProAm Open Gold in both American styles. To move forward at this point, I need a new teacher. One person I am considering is Gleb Makarov. Does anyone know where he is now, how tall he is, and what he is like? I saw in one of the posts he is in Seattle, but I can not find him. Any other suggestions? I will have to travel from the Southwest to this person, but am willing to for the right teacher.
thanks!

Did you check NDCA website directory? Shows him in Washington with a phone number/website listed. Link for website doesn't work but you can type in and get additional contact details.

As Larinda said, pm-es are probably the best way to go on this one since the feedback may be of a personal nature. Thanks all.

p.s. Rumbagirl, do you want recommendations for other teachers also? IF so, what geographically is acceptable and what are you looking for?

Any recommendation would be great. I am flying to Philly in May to "test drive" Evgeny Dyachenko. I would really like to talk to at least one other person. For the right person, i am willing to travel. There is no one else where I am. Since I have been competing for 6 years, I know a lot of the Pro Am teachers. All the ones I know have at least one person already in my age & level. With the goals that I have, I need an experienced, well trained teacher who can compete at least 8 comps per year. I welcome any and all suggestions!!!!

If you come to Philly, why don't you check out NJ? There are no shortage of tremendous Latin coaches in NJ, Andrei, Jan, Pasopaul, just to name a few.

I know Gleb because he was my teacher about 5 years ago when he and his partner used to live in NJ. What I can remember is that he is very outgoing, funny, makes a lot of jokes. But on the lessons he is very very strict. He was making me dance my butt off on the lessons and was very very demanding but after the lesson he was very friendly and outgoing. I can not say anything bad about him. I really liked him. He is also a very good dancer, very strong. He has always been nice to me.His height is about 5'10", 5'11". Unfortunatelly, after I moved from NJ I lost contact with him so I can't really help you with this. I miss him sometimes, want to say hello.
